Trees

2013
He starts with trees. And the humble pencil. The Walter Foster book on trees is his teacher. Using the lighter HB and 2B pencils he disciplines his hand to regain control over movements and strokes.
He will not move on to other subjects or other mediums till each tree can delight in its own treeness.
2019
Trees are always there. By now his mastery allows him to use as in the last two drawings of this section the darker 8B and 10B pencils.
