એલ.એલ.ડી.સી. ચિત્ર સ્પર્ધા - 'ચિત્રાંજલિ – ૨૦૨૩'
પૂજ્ય કાંતિસેન શ્રોફ “કાકા” બહુઆયામી વ્યક્તિત્વ ધરાવતા હતા. એમણે પોતાના જીવન દરમ્યાન સામાજિક, આર્થિક, ઔદ્યોગિક, કૃષિ, કલા, રસાયણ વિજ્ઞાન અને પર્યાવરણ ક્ષેત્રે મોટા પાયે અમૂલ્ય યોગદાન આપ્યું. તેઓએ પોતાના જીવનમાં કલાને વિશેષ સ્થાન આપ્યું હતું એટલે ૯૦ વર્ષની વયે પણ તેમણે પોતાનું જીવન સંપૂર્ણપણે ચિત્રકલાને અભિમુખ કર્યું, જે તેઓએ પોતાના અંતિમ સમય સુધી અવિરત ચાલુ રાખ્યું. જેના પરિણામે એમણે ૩૦૦ થી પણ વધુ ચિત્રો દોર્યા અને સૌને પ્રેરિત કર્યા. પૂજ્ય કાકાએ આ ચિત્રયાત્રા વિશે પોતાના શબ્દોમાં ટાંકયું હતું કે, “આપણે કુદરત માટે કે માનવજાત માટે શું પ્રદાન કરી શકીએ? એ ખૂબ અગત્યનું છે.” વિશેષમાં તેઓનું માનવું હતું કે, નિવૃત્તિ કરતાં પ્રવૃત્તિ એ જીવનહેતુ રહે. જેમાં કલા ખૂબ સુંદર રીતે ભાગ ભજવી શકે છે. જેના લીધે જીવન વધુ સરળ, રસપ્રદ અને અર્થપૂર્ણ બને.
કચ્છના ખૂણે-ખૂણે ચિત્રની કલામાં રસ ધરાવતા નવોદિત ચિત્રકારો આગળ વધવા પ્રોત્સાહિત થાય અને તેમને યોગ્ય મંચ મળે. તેમજ ચિત્રકલામાં વધુ ખેડાણ કરવા માટેનો ઉત્સાહ જળવાઈ રહે તે હેતુથી એલ.એલ.ડી.સી. તેમજ કચ્છ આર્ટિસ્ટ સોસાયટી એ સાથે મળીને તા. ૧૩/૦૫/૨૦૨૩ અને તા. ૧૪/૦૫/૨૦૨૩ ના રોજ પૂ. કાકાની દ્વિતીય પુણ્યતિથી નિમિત્તે ચિત્રાંજલિ સ્વરૂપે શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપવા 'LLDC ચિત્ર સ્પર્ધા ૨૦૨૩' નું આયોજન કરેલ છે.
આ સ્પર્ધા ખાસ કરીને કચ્છમાં વસતા કલાકારો માટે યોજવામાં આવી છે. જેમાં, ઓનલાઈન તેમજ ઓફલાઈન રીતે આયોજન કરેલ છે. જે માટે રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરવાનું ફરજિયાત રહેશે. ઓનલાઈન સ્પર્ધામાં ઘેરબેઠા ચિત્ર બનાવી ભાગ લઈ શકો છો. જ્યારે ઓફલાઈન સ્પર્ધામાં ચિત્રકારે એલ.એલ.ડી.સી., અજરખપુર ખાતે આવીને ચિત્ર બનાવવાનું રહેશે.
વિશેષ નોંધ : ખાસ જણાવવાનું કે ઓફલાઈન સ્પર્ધામાં ભાગ લઇ, LLDC ખાતે આવનાર સ્પર્ધકોને પ્રોત્સાહન રૂપે તમામને Participation Certificate આપવામાં આવશે. સાથોસાથ વિશેષ સરપ્રાઈઝ ગિફ્ટ પણ આપવામાં આવશે. અહીં આવનારને A3 સાઈઝ નો ડ્રોઈંગ પેપર પણ આપવામાં આવશે. સાથે ચા-નાસ્તા અને ભોજનની વ્યવસ્થા પણ રાખવામાં આવેલ છે.
નોંધ : આ સ્પર્ધામાં માત્ર કચ્છ (ગુજરાત) ના સ્પર્ધકો જ ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

‘LLDC Painting Competition’
On the occasion of the 2nd death anniversary of the Late Shri Kantisen Shroff, as
“CHITRANJALI – 2023”
Pujya Kantisen Shroff ‘Kaka’ was a multidimensional personality. He significantly contributed to the fields of society, economy, industries, agriculture, crafts, chemistry, and environment during his lifetime. He always considered art as an essential aspect of his life and therefore at the age of 90, he was once again inclined towards the art of painting, which he continued till the end of his life. He made more than 300 paintings and kept inspiring people with his art. Quoting here his own words; “What we contribute to mother nature or humanity is extremely important!” He always believed that; ‘Being active is always better than being retired!’ And art can really make this interesting as it makes life easy, cozy, and meaningful.
With the intention of giving every artist in Kutch who is interested in the art of painting a required platform and also giving them an opportunity to keep their interest alive in this art form, LLDC, and Kutch Artist Society are jointly organizing ‘LLDC Painting Competition-2023’ on the occasion of the second death anniversary of Pujya Kaka on 13th & 14th May 2023 to offer kaka an art tribute!
This painting competition is organized especially for the artists of Kutch in both online and offline formats. In both these formats, participants need to register themselves by filling in an online registration form mandatorily. In the online competition, participants will make paintings from their homes. Whereas, in an offline format, participants will need to come to LLDC and make paintings.
Special Note: It is to iterate that, Participation Certificate will be given as an incentive to all the contestants coming to LLDC to participate in the offline competition. A3 size paper to make the painting and a special surprise gift will also be given to the contestants coming to LLDC. Arrangements for light refreshments and lunch are also made for the participants.
Note: Participants from Kutch (Gujarat) can only participate in this competition.
