Back to 1963

A few years ago, we find a sheaf
of drawings tucked away in a book
gifted to him by one of his artist friends.
He is certain they are not the work of his friend.
Perhaps, they belong to his niece Jyotuben
who is also an artist.
Jyotuben reminds him of their trip
to Orissa in 1963.
Then he remembers.
These are his own sketches
